Flames Systems Limited (FSL) is a Systems Consultancy which provides systems engineering support to clients operating in Defence & Aerospace. Much of the work is simulation-based and, in addition to developing custom simulation tools such as SIRIAM for Dstl, FSL distributes & supports a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art modelling, simulation & training tools 1)as a Distributor of the SIMbox Modelling, Simulation & Training Toolkit produced by SimiGon, 2)interoperability tools produced by Pitch Technologies of Sweden (a BAE SYSTEMS Company), and 3) as a Partner of & a Re-seller for sophisticated Analysis products created by Phoenix Integration in the USA.


The areas of application close to the Company's interests include mathematical modelling, simulation, systems engineering, cognitive modelling, weapon system modelling, systems analysis, with particular emphasis on the SIMbox® suite, distributed simulation with particular emphasis on the Pitch® range of HLA products, and in providing access to high-end analysis tools with particular emphasis on the PHX ModelCenter® suite.


SimiGon's SIMbox toolkit provides a complete modelling, simulation and training environment tool set with significant infrastructure in place to develop custom Training applications which are highly scaleable from single workstations to full motion simulators where applicable.

The Pitch Technologies simulation interoperability tool set is centred on the pRTI™ and spans a comprehensive range of functionality.

With PHX ModelCenter, you can quickly create an engineering process and then perform complex design exploration techniques to find the best design. PHX ModelCenter is adaptable, and works well with groups whose design processes change frequently.
