| Alan
M. Thompson Ph.D, B.Sc(Eng), ACGI Alan - a director and founder member of the Company - is the point of contact on commercial matters at FSL where he is also involved with business development support. Alan graduated from Imperial College in 1967 with a first class Honours Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and continued there to obtain a Ph.D in Aerodynamics in 1971. During his 40 year career in the Defence Industry he worked within British Aerospace Defence, GEC-Marconi Defence Systems, Hunting Engineering, Plessey Radar Systems, and Systems Designers (later to form part of EDS Defence). He developed in technical management roles leading teams of up to 140 staff, and became increasingly involved in business management, customer relations and sales and marketing activities. |
